Privacy statement
This statement is meant to match observable behaviour. The short version: your images are processed in your browser and are never uploaded by this tool.
Where your files are processed
- Decoding, cropping, resizing, compression, density metadata and PDF building are all performed with JavaScript and canvas on your device. There is no server-upload step in the tool.
- Working images are never written to localStorage, IndexedDB, cookies, or service-worker caches. Reloads and the 'prepare another file' action release the image data from memory and revoke temporary download URLs.
- Session settings (such as the last selected route) stay in your browser's sessionStorage only — no image bytes or filenames. Clear them with the control below.
Analytics
This site can run two optional analytics tools — Google Analytics 4 and Plausible: • Google Analytics (gtag.js) measures automatic page views (page_view); we add no personal data to its configuration. • Plausible carries our tool events (which tool, crop/resize success) as coarse categories only. Filenames, image data, image hashes, EXIF values and crop coordinates are rejected in code before any event is sent. No session replay is used. When no analytics IDs are configured, nothing is sent anywhere.
Cookies and third parties
The site itself sets no cookies. When Google Analytics is active, Google sets the _ga cookies in your browser (under Google's policies) — you can block them with browser settings or tracking-preference options. The official portals you open to apply have their own policies. This site has no chat widgets, ad scripts, or session-replay scripts.
